I grew up on a family farm near Worthington, MN, producing corn, soybeans, oats, alfalfa and raising stock cows, feeder cattle and hogs. Being active in the family farm business instilled the work ethic that I still use today in the insurance industry. As a teenager, I experienced an auto accident that quickly involved me in understanding how an insurance company handles a claim. As a young adult, I experienced my second auto accident and did not have the same positive claims handling experience. As a result of these experiences with insurance companies, the decision to help other farm and business owners with their insurance needs seemed like a good fit for my career.

Because I grew up in a farming community and I have twenty eight years of insurance experience, I believe I can help Agrasure and its members. My philosophy is to always look for potential insurance exposures that may not be covered and policy gaps where your current insurance program may cause financial harm to your business. Hopefully you will see that in action when I visit your farm. For many years, I have been helping farmers to identify protection that could help ease the burden of a loss to their business. You can count on me to be friendly, hardworking and able to answer your questions. If I don’t know the answer, I will research your question and contact you as soon as possible with an answer.

Born and raised in Casselton, ND, I’ve been fortunate to be around agriculture my entire life. Most of my childhood was spent at my grandparent’s farm one mile north of Casselton. My grandpa, dad and uncles all worked together on their farms between Casselton, Durbin and Leonard.

One of my many favorite farm memories was sitting on Grandpa's lap and "driving" the various equipment. My grandfather had a passion for living off the land and would regularly share his ag knowledge with me. As I grew in my career and started working in insurance, I’ve used my rural life experiences to help customers with their ag-related questions. When you own and operate any sized farm, you’ll be using heavy equipment and vehicles, and insurance is simply one of those "necessary evils" you should never be without.

With more than 10 years experience in the insurance industry, I have maintained a passion for helping people with their questions and concerns. I look forward to working with you at Agrasure, and aim to make your experiences productive ones.
